Salesforce Data Architect

Ivory Skies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Data Architect to join our implementation team at a global federal agency. This Salesforce Data Architect will be establishing the Salesforce standards agency wide for a global organization. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Salesforce data models, integration patterns, and best practices, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring data integrity, scalability, and performance across our Salesforce ecosystem.

Contributions

• Data Architecture Design: Define and maintain the overall data architecture for Salesforce, including data models, relationships, and integration points with external systems.
• Data Modeling: Design and develop logical and physical data models that align with business requirements and support efficient data access and retrieval.
• Data Integration: Design data integration solutions using ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools, APIs, or other appropriate methods.
• Data Migration: Plan and execute data migration projects, ensuring data accuracy and consistency during the transition.
• Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize Salesforce data performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to ensure optimal system responsiveness.
• Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful implementation.

Qualifications

‍Required:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
• 8+ years of experience as a data architect, with at least 5 years of experience working with Salesforce.
• Expert knowledge of Salesforce data models, objects, fields, and relationships.
• Strong understanding of data integration patterns and best practices within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, MuleSoft), data modeling tools (e.g., Erwin), and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
• Experience with Data Lakes/Warehouses
• Proficiency in SQL and SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Salesforce Certified

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
